About me
I have arrived as a counsellor fairly late in my working life, a late bloomer you might say!
I don’t always seek the easy way and I have a determination to get underneath and to the bottom of things.
The passion I have for being with other humans, sitting in their hard place and working together to get underneath and to the bottom of things, can be a challenge but feels just where I want and need to be.
I have worked with 70+ clients and have over 700hrs counselling experience.
I am a counsellor member of COSCA, the professional body for Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland (membership no. 3530) and of the Psychologists Protection Society (PPS).
I joined the Counselling Service at the Bridge Community Project in May 2017 when I was a student Counsellor and now continue to volunteer on a weekly basis while working in my private practice.
